Thanks to Anysia and Eric...we all got together for a cookout and Easter egg hunt at their house. So it was me, Marissa, Eric and Anysia, Chris, Andreas and all three dogs. Anysia put out 83 eggs. We found 82. 82. Where did that last egg go? When will it be found? You know, I will post it on this blog when it is found!
Some of the eggs were numbered and those eggs earned the finder a special prize. Prizes included: bubble maker, stuffed puppy dog (wow did Marissa try to get that from Eric), rubiks cube...... Have you had the new peanut butter Snickers? Its square-shaped. Delicious. Try it!
We also had another throwing competition. Last week it was to throw an apple that was bitten off three times. This competition was throwing moldy hamburger rolls from Safeway. They do not have enough mass and therefore went maybe halfway across the yard. Joey got them first and Chris finished the job by throwing them over into the field where the wild animals will find them soon.
Dinner was preceded by a walk to Home Goods with the puppies and even before that...homemade guacamole and chips. We got to sit on the newly power washed deck and admire the beautiful new color that the house has been painted. The day was beautiful and believe me...I was breathing towards the sun!
Tomorrow is the start of a busy work week, so it was wonderful to have an Easter Monday!
love to all!
